 who wants to feel more comfortable\, confident and
  competent in helping to prevent the immediate ris
 k of suicide. ASIST is a resource for the whole co
 mmunity. It helps people apply suicide first-aid i
 n many settings: with family\, friends\, co-worker
 s\, teammates and formal caregiving roles.</p>\n \
 n <p>Experience powerful videos on suicide interve
 ntion. Feel challenged and safe. Learn suicide fir
 st aid.</p>\n \n <p><b>What you will learn</b></p>
 \n \n <ul>\n 	<li>How to help someone thinking abo
 ut suicide develop a personalized SafePlan to keep
  safe for now and connect with further help</li>\n
  	<li>How to apply a Safety Framework to guide the
  development of this SafePlan through a collaborat
 ive helping relationship</li>\n 	<li>An understand
 ing of how personal and community attitudes about 
 suicide affect someone’s openness to seek help and
  how that affects your ability to provide care</li

 This two-day training is held in person and attend
 ance for the full two days is mandatory to partici
 pate. Enjoy small group discussions and skills pra
 ctice that are based upon adult learning principle
 s.</p>\n \n <p><b>Cost: $100</b></p>\n \n <p>The c
 ost of the training is $100 for the two days\, wit
 h lunch on your own and light snacks provided.</p>
