This course will cover how we can he lp our children grieve a loss with support in thei r environments including within the home and in th e classroom. The influence of families on their yo ung children shows the effect they have on their s uccessful coping\, or struggle\, with death. With children attending school or childcare settings ma ny of their days\, teachers have an opportunity to help children learn about death\, coping\, and gr ieving in a healthy way. This course has details s pecifically geared toward children aged three to f ive years but could be adapted for younger or olde r children.
