Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day\, interactive\, skills-b ased workshop for anyone 16 years of age or older who wants to feel more comfortable\, confident and competent in helping to prevent the immediate ris k of suicide. ASIST is a resource for the whole co mmunity. It helps people apply suicide first-aid i n many settings: with family\, friends\, co-worker s\, teammates and formal caregiving roles.

\n \nThis two-day training is held i n person and attendance for the full two days is mandatory to participate in order to receive certificate of attendance. Enjoy small group discussions and skills practice that are ba sed upon adult learning principles.
