Caregiver Connection: Parkinson's Foundation

Event Description

Registration opens 60 days prior to event!

Join us for a “Parkinson’s Disease Basics” presentation that offers an easy-to-follow overview of what Parkinson’s is, how it affects the body, and what to expect after a diagnosis. The session will also highlight a variety of free resources available through the Parkinson’s Foundation—including tools, guides, and support programs designed for both individuals living with Parkinson’s and their caregivers.  Come learn, ask questions, and discover helpful support for each step of the process.

Hosted by the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging.

Due to construction, the location of this event has been moved.  It will now take place at the Monticello Library (Community Meeting Room), 22435 W. 66th St., Shawnee, KS  66226

If you need an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter or another ADA accomodation, please contact Jill Zink at (913) 715-8860 or Jill.Zink@jocogov.org at least two business days prior to the event.
