Parenting a Second Time Around (PASTA)

Are you a grandparent, relative, or caregiver stepping back into the parenting role? Johnson County Mental Health Center invites you to our bi-monthly PASTA support group during Recovery Night on Thursdays at Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, in Leawood.

Created by Cornell University, PASTA (Parenting a Second Time Around) is a support group for grandparents, relatives or caregivers who have entered the parenting role again. PASTA provides a welcoming space where caregivers can connect, share experiences, and gain valuable tools to navigate this unique journey. Each session features a presenter offering practical information, skills, and resources to empower you in your caregiving role.

Joining us as a guest speaker is Kelly Jurgensen, an attorney with extensive experience in estate planning, probate, trust administration, and tax law. Known for her thoughtful and practical approach, Kelly helps individuals and families navigate complex life decisions with clarity and confidence, offering guidance through both proactive planning and challenging transitions.
