Caring for a parent, spouse, or loved one? You don't have to do it alone. Join us for a Medicare Basics class and connect with local caregiver resources - all in one place. Community organizations and vendors will be available before and after the class to share
information, answer questions, and connect you with tools that can make caregiving a little easier. The class will be presented by the Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas (SHICK) program, a free and unbiased resource offered through the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging. Don’t miss this opportunity to learn from trusted, local experts.
What you will learn:
• Medicare basics and options
• Preparing for enrollment
• Enrollment periods and deadlines
• Avoiding scams and fraud
• Staying informed
• Local support resources
This project was supported, in part, by grant numbers 90SAPG0093-05, 90MPPG0081-02, and 2401KSMISH from the U.S. Administration for Community Living, Department of Health and Human Services, Washington, D.C. 20201.
