Screens, Stress and Safety
Join us for a meaningful evening of connection and conversation, where families will gain the knowledge and tools to navigate the intersection between digital media, youth mental health, and online safety.
Details
This free family event is designed for middle and high school students and their parents or caregivers. The evening begins with a complimentary family meal, followed by engaging activities and a facilitated discussion for parents and youth.
Family Screening & Discussion – The Anxious Generation
Parents and youth will watch The Anxious Generation together, exploring how smartphones, social media, and digital culture are impacting youth mental health and family life.
After the screening, families will participate in a facilitated discussion to reflect on what stood out, talk about their own technology use, and identify practical strategies for building healthier digital habits at home.
Please note: The film briefly references mental health and suicide as part of the broader conversation. Support resources will be available.
