Are you a grandparent, relative, or caregiver stepping back into the parenting role? Johnson County Mental Health Center invites you to our bi-monthly PASTA support group during Recovery Night on Thursdays at Resurrection, a United Methodist Church, in Leawood.

Created by Cornell University, PASTA (Parenting a Second Time Around) is a support group for grandparents, relatives or caregivers who have entered the parenting role again. PASTA provides a welcoming space where caregivers can connect, share experiences, and gain valuable tools to navigate this unique journey. Each session features a presenter offering practical information, skills, and resources to empower you in your caregiving role.

Joining us as a guest speaker is Dr. Melisa Boersma, a physician, educator, and life coach known for her powerful approach to resilience, mindset, and human potential. In addition to her extensive work in oncology and education, she helps individuals gain clarity, navigate challenges, and take intentional steps forward.
