Aging Activities
Protein plays an important role in staying strong, active, and independent as we age. Join the Johnson County Area Agency on Aging along with the K-State Extension Office to explore why protein needs change over time, how much protein older adults really need, and simple ways to include protein at every meal and snack. Participants will learn about both animal and plant-based protein sources and easy recipes to help meet protein needs.
Do you have a food allergy? Please notify Jill Zink at 913-715-8860 or jill.zink@jocogov.org prior to the class.
Event will be held at the Sunset Office Building located at 11811 S. Sunset Drive, (Room 1060) Olathe, Kansas 66062
If you need an American Sign Language (ASL) interpreter or another ADA accommodation, please contact Jill Zink at (913) 715-8860 or Jill.Zink@jocogov.org at least two business days before the scheduled event or class.
