Please join us at one of the upcoming local Johnson County public meetings to learn about the factors that both support and impede Johnson County's health and well-being and add your voice and perspective to where we should focus the work in the next five years!

Multiple meetings with community members will be held the week of April 22, 2024 at different times of day throughout the county. The Department of Health and Environment (DHE) will share information collected in the past year's Community Health Assessment and gather community members’ perspectives on top priorities for future action. Each community meeting will be 75 minutes long and the same format – and will end with all attendees submitting their priorities for future action. Community input from all meetings will be compiled and provided to the Public Health Leadership Council, DHE's local steering committee, for final analysis and decision making for the 2025-2029 Community Health Improvement Plan (CHIP).

The input of Johnson County residents is essential to this process – your voices and priorities are critical to assuring that the CHIP reflects what this community identifies as most important to change or improve! Please register for one of the following meetings – and share this opportunity to provide input with family and friends that would be interested. We look forward to seeing you there!
